Cruise Activities

We are the life and soul of the party on every deck. Whether we’re hosting a comedy show, bingo, trivia, or a deck party, Cruise Activities Staff are always on the go and in the spotlight, using the entire ship as our stage. And from Sky Ride to Ropes Course as Sports Staff we are bringing fun to new heights. Call us what you want—party starters, ambassadors of fun, ship influencers, front-line hosts for every guest—without us, cruises would not be as fun.

DJ

Open format DJ style with professional microphone skills High-energy, positive, and engaging business-minded people who are not afraid to engage with crowds on and off stage High-level hosting/emcee skills and ability to interact with Cruise Directors to enhance the vibe at parties/events

Cruise Director

The Cruise Director drives the pulse of our entertainment onboard. More than simply informing the ship about events, the Cruise Director experiences the entertainment alongside our guests. They're hosting shows, activities & events inside and outside, morning and night.

Assistant Cruise Director

The Assistant Cruise Director is the Cruise Director right hand. They might split to host a variety of activities during the day or come together to throw a killer party at night. Either way, where they go, so goes the action.

Youth Entertainers

Youth activities offer a variety of activities, including games, sports, science workshops, and educational programs. Individuals who are outgoing, enthusiastic, energetic and have an interest in entertaining kids of any age are encouraged to apply.

Enrichment Speakers

Guest presenters and destination experts to enrich the cruise experience by providing presentations about topics deemed interesting and appropriate to the ships' itineraries.

Lights, camera, action? Not without us! Technicians are the backbone of onboard entertainment. We work behind the scenes to make all Cruise events look and sound spectacular and ensure that TV programming is available around the ship. As resourceful, specialized experts, there’s no technical issue we can’t solve. 

Lighting Technician

The Light Technician is responsible for the safe and proper operation of the lighting & special effects systems in the main theater during all shows and activities (includes full‐cast production shows, magic shows, variety shows, etc). Also responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and ensuring the proper functioning of all conventional stage lighting as well as intelligent moving fixtures installed in various venues around the ship.

Audio Technician

The Audio Technician is responsible for the safe and proper operation of all the audio systems around the ship and in the main theater for all shows and activities (includes full‐cast production shows, magic shows, variety shows, etc). She/he is also responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and ensuring the proper functioning of all audio systems in the various venues around the ship.

Broadcast Technician

The Broadcast AV Technician must be able to operate, maintain and troubleshoot broadcast and AV systems. Target and acquire satellite reception for the purpose of broadcast television. They must also be able to ingest and schedule digital media for playback on internal broadcast television system/VOD servers. Set up and/or operate audio/video equipment.

Video Technician

The Entertainment Technical Video Technician’s primary role is to operate/maintain robotic (pan, tilt, zoom), handheld cameras and control room equipment to produce live video content to a series of display surfaces throughout the venue. Programming can range from fast-paced production shows to slower-paced activities such as morning shows. The role will be assigned to the production technical team in the Center Stage venue where productions shows are performed.
