CV-BIOGRAPHY
Your bio should be clear, professional, and around 200 words max. Focus on the highlights: your style, experience, and what makes your act unique. Avoid long lists—just share the essentials that show your versatility and stage presence. Use proper grammar and keep the tone engaging. Don’t forget to include a great headshot or band photo to complete your package.
repertoire
Your songlist should be clear, well-organized, and show variety. We recommend a minimum of 250 songs. Group songs by genre (not alphabetically or by artist) to help us quickly understand your range. Always include your name or band name at the top. Make sure your selections reflect your versatility.
PROMO VIDEO TIPS
- Absolutely no longer than 10 minutes. In fact, around 5-7 minutes is ideal.
- Do not include whole songs. Each clip should be no longer than 1 minute. It is usually best to include the most recognizable part of the song.
- A selection of 7-10 songs is best. It is important that the songs are as varied as possible.
- Interact! If recorded live, include footage where you’re interacting with the crowd—talking to them, encouraging them to sing along, or creating a connection.
- YouTube or Google Drive are a great way to easily market your video. We highly suggest using this resource instead of attaching videos.
- Attire.Dress professionally. Avoid jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, or sandals—your appearance should reflect the standard of the gigs you’re aiming for.
