PIANO BAR ENTERTAINER

Piano bar entertainers are dynamic performers who bring the party to life, keeping the energy high and the crowd singing along well into the night. This role is about more than just music—building a connection with your audience through humor and interaction is key.

GUITAR ENTERTAINER

Guitar soloists are dynamic entertainers who can channel the vibes of James Taylor, Eric Clapton, and Fleetwood Mac while putting their own spin on modern rock, soulful R&B, country classics, and chart-topping pop hits. Turning any venue into a lively, sing-along hotspot is a key part of the job.

COCKTAIL PIANIST

Should be skilled and versatile musicians, capable of delivering a mix of light classical pieces, jazz standards, Broadway favorites, and soft pop hits

CLASSICAL GUITARIST

Solo classical and acoustic guitarists should be versatile musicians, able to perform a blend of light classical music, jazz standards, Broadway tunes, and soft pop hits. Your role will focus on creating an elegant and ambient atmosphere in various venues throughout the ship.

STEEL PAN PLAYER

Steel pan players should deliver vibrant performances featuring a mix of Caribbean classics, reggae, pop, and calypso. Backing tracks are encouraged to enhance the sound, and vocals are a plus but not required.

Groups

MAINSTREAM DUOS

Mainstream duos should feature two versatile musicians who both sing and play instruments like keys, bass, guitar, or percussion. Strong vocals and the ability to cover genres from Motown to rock to contemporary—acoustic or with backing tracks—are essential.

PARTY BANDS

Party bands should include a 4-piece setup with drums, bass, a harmonic instrument, and at least two vocalists (extra vocals are always a bonus!). Bands with 5-6 members bring the energy with an additional lead vocalist.

LATIN ENSEMBLES

Latin duos, trios, and quartets where each musician is both an instrumentalist—commonly on piano, bass, or drums, though other instruments are great—and a vocalist. Backing tracks are a plus, and bringing lots of energy is essential. If you can deliver a lively mix of Latin genres like salsa, merengue, bachata, and cumbia, this is your chance!

CARIBBEAN ENSEMBLES

Caribbean ensembles can be duos or quartets, blending steel pan with instruments like keys, bass, or percussion to deliver a lively mix of pop, reggae, and calypso. Backing tracks add depth, and the more vocals the better.

JAZZ ENSEMBLES

Trios, quartets, and sextets should include drums, bass (or key-bass), a chordal instrument, and at least one vocalist. Sextets will additionally feature trumpet and saxophone. Multi-instrumentalists and musician-vocalists are highly valued. Repertoire should feature straight-ahead jazz, Latin jazz, jazzy pop renditions, and light pop and blues.

CLASSICAL ENSEMBLES

Classical ensembles, including duos, trios, and quartets, should seamlessly transition from timeless pieces like Bach to modern favorites like The Lord of the Rings theme. The ability to merge classical and contemporary music with high energy is essential. If you can also perform as an electric string ensemble using backing tracks, even better!

COUNTRY MUSIC

Country acts—duos, trios, quartets, and 5-piece bands—should showcase a love for country music, from classics like Johnny Cash to modern stars like Carrie Underwood. Whether in boots and a hat or jeans and a tee, bring your authentic sound and apply today!

Houseband

Bassists should have excellent sight-reading skills and the versatility to perform across genres like rock, pop, jazz, funk, Latin, and more. Upright bass skills are a valuable bonus!

Guitarists should have strong sight-reading skills, impressive rock improvisation abilities, and excellent stylistic versatility.

TROMBONE

Trombone players should have excellent sight-reading skills, a strong sense of dynamics and phrasing, and the ability to solo confidently in jazz and blues styles.

Drummers should have excellent sight-reading skills and the versatility to confidently lead a band through a wide range of genres, including rock, pop, jazz, funk, Latin, and more.

Alto and tenor saxophonists should be exceptional sight-readers, skilled improvisers, and meticulous about articulation and phrasing. Doubling on flute and clarinet is required.

TRUMPET

Trumpet players should have excellent sight-reading skills and specialize in either a strong, high lead register or expressive jazz improvisation. If you’re great at both, even better!

KEYBOARD

Keyboardists should have excellent sight-reading skills, strong improvisation abilities, and the versatility to comp everything from ‘80s pop to big band jazz.
